"We Save Safya! Safya Husseini Tungar-Tudu is a young woman. She is thirty years old. She has had a child . She’s not married. Between a month, to the end of december 2001, because of the muslim law, she will be killed. She will be buried in a hole and stoned to death from people of its village. In its hut, Safya nurse its child, its death sentence, waiting for to die. We want that Safya lives . The international community want that Safya lives .We ask that the Nigeria’s president grant the grace . All the world asks the grace for she.

 

Salviamo Safya!  Safya Husseini Tungar-Tudu è una giovane donna di trent'anni. Ha avuto un bambino ma non è sposata. Fra un mese, alla fine di dicembre 2001, secondo la legge islamica, sarà uccisa. Sarà seppellita in una buca e lapidata a morte dalla gente del suo villaggio.Nella sua capanna, Safya allatta il suo bambino, la sua condanna a morte, aspettando di morire. Noi vogliamo che Safya viva. La comunità internazionale vuole che Safya viva. Chiediamo che il presidente della nigeria conceda la grazia. Tutto il mondo chiede la grazia per lei."
